Yolanda Pedraza has over 35 years of supervisory and management experience with both local government private sector. Ms. Pedraza has worked for Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs as an Auditor responsible for providing consultative services to plan, implement, and monitor effective agency contract programs. She worked for Travis County Transportation and Natural Resources (TNR) as an Executive Liaison to served as liaison/ombudsman to the Commissioners Court, County Attorney’s Office, community residents and business and/or neighborhood associations. She was the primary media contact person during normal and emergency disaster operations. She worked for Travis County Human Services as a Human Services Planner and monitored agency contracts and provided technical assistance to mangers and contract personnel on implementation of policies and procedures. Ms. Pedraza served for Travis County Human Services as a Supervisor for the West Rural Community Center. Ms. Pedraza attended
Austin Community College and St. Edward’s University.
Ms. Pedraza is principle owner of Austin Protection Security, LLC, licensed by the State of Texas.
Ernest Pedraza has more than 35 years of experience and knowledge in security operations and law enforcement. Mr. Pedraza served as a police officer for the El Paso Police Department and later served the Austin Police Department as a Police Commander. Mr. Pedraza is a professional who utilizes creativity, leadership skills and teamwork to design holistic operation plans that includes all stakeholders.
Mr. Pedraza has extensive experience in Law Enforcement gain throughout the 35 years of service. He managed the High Tech Unit, White Collar Crime Unit, Financial Crimes Unit, Missing Persons Unit, Recruiting Unit, Organized Crime Unit, Narcotics Investigations. Mr. Pedraza has collaborated with Federal, International, and local law enforcement agencies to solved criminal cases. Mr. Pedraza has investigated Homicides, Missing Persons, Sex Crimes, White Collar Crimes and Property Thefts. Mr. Pedraza has conducted numerous hours of surveillance and counter surveillance.
Mr.Pedraza is a Licensed Private Investigator, Owner and Manager of the Austin Protection Security. He is a US Army Veteran and earned a Criminal Justice Degree AAS with National Honors. He is a graduated from Innovation 88 Leadership School from the University of Texas School of Public Affairs. He is a graduate from the Austin Police West Point Leadership Academy, Graduated from the FBI National Police Academy, graduate from the Austin Police Command College, Masters Peace Officer Certification-Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Education (T.C.L.E.O.S.E.) Instructor’s Certification and over 2500 hours of in-service training, including National Incident Management System (NIMS).
